Doubt
Is a servant,
essential
as lamp light
in the dark room.

It is the stop sign
we ignore
at our peril
as, driven by certainty,
we crash.
Still, bruised and battered,
we mistrust doubt.

Doubt
is an explorer,
a guide
to the opened door
leading to 
ocean,  
meadow, 
vast, cloudless sky.
